Tu B’Shvat eCards – New Year of the Trees is an Excellent Opportunity to Reach Out and Connect

Gut Yomtov: (Happy Holiday)

Tu B’Shvat is a Jewish Holiday. It is a happy holiday and is also known as:

  • Rosh Hashanah of the Trees
  • New Year of the Trees
  • Birthday of the Trees
  • Happy Birthday for the Trees

Tu B’Shvat is usually late January or early February. It marks the beginning of Spring in Israel.

In some places the ground warms and the buds begin to bloom, thus renewal and growth. Where the ground is still cold and hard, people may grow plants indoors.

Some traditional Tu B’Shvat fruits are fruits from the trees like: oranges, grapefruits, dates, pomegranates, figs and carob fruit.

Tu B’Shvat begins this evening at sundown – Sunday February 8, 2009

Say It With eCards offers a wide selection of Tu B’Shvat eCards. Click the links below to visit the site and send yours.

Hanukkah Miracle or Opportunity – Send eCards Make Your Clients Feel Special

No Gravatar

Subhead: Learn to Make the Miracle of Hanukkah “Your Hanukkah Opportunity”

Note: While this is geared to your clients and business associates, it can relate to just about anyone and everyone.

I just received a special Holiday eCard from AllState Insurance.

Although I know that this is done automatically and electronically, the effect was not lost on me.  AllState’s eCard was truly unexpected. However, it made me feel special and remembered!

This is the second eCard I received from AllState. The first was earlier this year when they sent me a “birthday eCard!”  Now… I am wondering what kind of card they are going to send me next month for my 65th birthday. 🙂  But honestly, IF they send another birthday eCard “it will” be unexpected and the effect will be one of glee! It’s a special time and “everyone wants to feel remembered!”

My point… EVERYONE has the need to feel special.  EVERYONE wants to be remembered.  EVERYONE wants to feel worthy!  eCards do that “in-the-moment!” The feelings an eCard can create is “priceless!”

It’s Hanukkah… It’s NOT too late!

This said:  It is NOT too late to send your Hanukkah eCards.  Hanukkah lasts for Eight (8) Days.  Today is Day Three (3) of Hanukkah!  You have Five (5) Days left to send your Hanukkah eCards.  You cannot send snail mail cards and expect to have them arrive on time!

Hanukkah eCards – Not Just Affordable, But Quicker and Environmentally Friendly

No Gravatar

As the saying goes:  “The times they are a changing!”  Here are two examples:

  • The economy — has forced people to think before they spend.

You can send hundreds of eCards for less than 6 cents per day! That is 1/7 the price of ONE First Class US Postal Stamp

  • Saving the environment – now that we have become more environmentally conscious, have begun to recycle, repurpose and seriously consider what we throw in our landfills,  eCards save trees and the environment.

NOTE:  For those who like “tangible” greeting cards, no need to fret…
You CAN choose to print your favorite eCard(s), you can save them in scrap books, frame them and hang them in a place of honor, etc.  You are limited ONLY by your own imagination

On the other hand… you can choose NOT to print them at all, thus saving paper and the environment.

Give it a think…

Hanukkah eCards – Send Gratitude and Appreciation eCards

No Gravatar

Times are hard, people are watching their pennies.  The economy has most down.  If you do not believe me, go for a walk in your nearest mall.

In my neighborhood, the decorations are up, but one feels  sadness wherever they walk.  Even in the stores, the clerks look sad! I believe this is because people do not know how to act – none of us has ever lived through times like this.

And yes… there are those who are not affected in an immediate way, but even they are looking for bargains and holding on a bit tighter to their money.

Many are giving smaller priced items as gifts and many are making their own.  People are digging deep and going back to basics.  For this reason I decided to do my part to help and created a selection of:

 “Gratitude and Appreciation Hanukkah eCards!”
http://www.sayitwithecards.com/index.php?cat_id=632

You may ask… “Who ever heard of Gratitude and Appreciation Hanukkah eCards.”  Who ever heard of many of the things that are going on these days! Kindness goes a long way!  Consideration for others goes a long way!  I take offense to those who gloss over the economy.  Very few of us know what is really going on in another “financial” life!

My goal is to do what I can to help!  I am in a unique position running my own eCards website and being a designer.  I had an idea, I put it into action.  I saw a need and found a way to implement it!  (To be honest… it made me feel good to do something instead of complain!)
